To find Tonnau’r Môr caravanning and campsite from Abersoch village drive along Lon Sarn Bach out of the village for approx 1 mile. You will pass the coastguard base, Siop y Pentra on your left before coming to a crossroads that is another 300m further on.
In a car
At the cross roads you will see a small brown sign with a tent on it and a sign that says holiday homes for sale on the ground just after the house, turn left here. Be aware the lane is a single track and has very few places for passing oncoming traffic. Whilst you may not meet anyone coming the opposite direction be prepared to reverse or pull over. If you are worried follow the instructions for a motorhome below.
In a motorhome or a caravan
Just after the Siop y Pentra there is a lay-by where you can pull over. Call the office and we can control the traffic leaving the site and along the lane at our end so you won’t meet anyone coming in the opposite direction (07960 470245). The lane takes a sharp left and then a sharp right in the middle before straightening out, please be careful of pedestrians as the lane is narrow. At the end of this lane turn left towards the beach and you will see a gravel road with the campsite on your right. If you have a long unit or would like us to take out the middle post to widen the gate please request this when you call us.
