We’re a small and unique campsite, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of noisy crowds and busy roads.
The campsite is designed to prioritise sustainability, offer individuality, and to create and environment where immersion in nature is embraced.
Not only do we have the perfect location, just 330m from the beach; we also have perfect facilities too.
We are proud to be able to showcase our state-of-the-art facilities which include:
- Brand-new Amenities Block featuring; showers with underfloor heating & hair dryers, 2 x accessible/family bathrooms, fully equipped with adapted showers, toilets, sinks and baby changing facilities – all free for our guests
- Utilities Area with; fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and kettle and 2 sinks with hot water for washing up – all free for our guests
- Laundry Facilities – 2 x washing machines & 2 x tumble dryers (pre-pay)
- Outdoor Showering Area
- EV charging for guests
And as for WiFi, we’ve got that covered too!
We have installed professional standard WiFi throughout the site, ensuring our guests have the best possible upload and download speeds. All of which is free for guests to use.

Tonnau'r Môr Opens
After a busy 12 months preparing the site we open the gates to our visitors on March 1st.
Bookings Open
After a lot of work bookings for touring guests were finally opened ready for the 2026 season.

The pitches are in place and ready for guests to view.
Ian and Jo
Ian and Jo join the team. With a long standing knowledge of the site, camping and area their skill set will help accelerate the business to new heights.
Ground Broken
Work started on the infrastructure to improve the ground. Drainage, roads, re wilding and a brand new amenities block would all help improve the land.
Your Hosts
For Ian and Jo managing Tonnau’r Môr Caravan and Camping Site isn’t a job, it’s a vocation.
After 55 years visiting the old campsite for Ian, and 35 years for Jo, they are passionate about the site. It holds a very special place in their hearts, it’s in their blood, it’s where they have created many happy memories and lasting friendships, and where they find their inner peace.
So, for them, the offer of a partnership was just too good to miss. It felt like winning The Lottery without buying the ticket! But the dream job comes at a price.
Ian and Jo are adamant that the legacy from the old site continues. That the values of respect, friendship, loyalty and community remain. That teenagers and children can holiday believing that there are no boundaries, that they have total freedom, all the while staff and other guests are looking out for them. And that impeccable customer service and amazing hospitality are standard.
It’s a tough challenge but one that Ian and Jo wholeheartedly accept.
Having spent so much time in North Wales over the years, Ian and Jo have a wealth of knowledge about camping, the campsite, Abersoch and the surrounding areas. And they will be on hand to share this knowledge to help their guests make the most of their stay.
